The Constitution and Bylaws of our church contains a Statement of Faith very similar to the Baptist Faith and Message (BF&M) of 1963. We have not officially addressed changes in the BF&M in 1998 and 2000 but the majority of our members would generally agree with the content of the changes.

We are a Southern Baptist Church and cooperate with and support the Southern Baptist Convention, the Baptist General Convention of Texas and Parker Baptist Association.

We will list a summary of our beliefs on this page eventually, but you can click on the link below to view a .pdf copy of the Baptist Faith and Message of 1963.

Contemporary Issues

The Christian Holy Bible is the authority for our Christian faith and practice.

We believe the Bible teaches all sexual behavior outside of a biblical marriage of a man and woman is against God’s plan and, therefore, a sin. This includes premarital, homosexual and extramarital sexual behavior and couples “living together” or cohabitating without being married.

We believe the Bible teaches that life begins at conception, therefore, abortion is a sin as it results in the termination of a human life.

The Bible teaches that all have sinned (Romans 3:23). People who have sinned in the past or are currently struggling with sin are welcome and encouraged to participate in our church.

We believe God can and will forgive all sin if a person comes to Him in genuine faith and repentance. See 1 John 1:9
